Baptism

Raegan was baptised May 21, 2006. Here are a few pics. She fell asleep during Mass but quickly awoke during the actual baptism.

Mobile Raegan

Raegan isn't crawling yet, but she is scooching some..mostly backwards. She winds up in some tight places and then frustrated when she can't go any further! She's such great entertainment.

Fun with H2O

I will squeeze out a washcloth, and Raegan becomes enamored with the dripping water. She gets so excited over it. It's amazing to watch her explore and learn about the world.

Pretty Baby

We were trying on this week Raegan's baptismal gown as her baptism is this Sunday. (finally! :) )

This is the bonnet. I tried it on after the dress instead of leaving it on. I think she's cute with just the diaper and bonnet.

BTW, the gown still fits!

Teeth!

Raegan has not one but TWO teeth! It's like one finally broke through and then another immediately after.

She didn't feel well for a few days but now she is back to her happy self! yeah!!

Raegan eating can be pretty comical at times. Here is video I shot with my camera(so it's a quicktime clip) of her buzzing her lips and spewing food everywhere.

Family Reunion

Raegan attended her first family reunion this past Sunday. We rode with Mamaw and Papaw three hours to it in Alabama. It's Papaw's side of the family. Most of the folks there we are kin to, but it's sort of a distant kin. It's still fun to go. It did rain on us on the way over and continued to rain when we got there. This forced everyone under the pavilion to eat and stay. Usually the family "clicks" spread out with their lawn chairs across the cementary. (yes the family reunion is held in the family cementary)

The Robinson family cementary is well kept. The older family members really hold it as a treasure. (just hope the young ones continue it on) Many years ago they decided to start holding the reunion here. Since that first cementary reunion, they have built bathrooms, a pavilion, have running water, and electricity. Some folks come Friday and make a weekend out of it (with their campers and all).

Shortly after taking this shot of Rae, she went to sleep. She slept on and off on the way over. She was the youngest person there!

100 Years of Coca Cola

Saturday the Coca Cola plant in Hattiesburg had community day. Raegan and I loaded up and headed out for all the fun. We went early and didn't get into the rain(at least not there anyway).

They had a little video of the history of Coca Cola in Hattiesburg which was cool. They also had free Coke drinks. They even had paper hats! (more on that in a minute) It would have been cool to see everything running, but it was still impressive just being there. I couldn't help but think of Laverne and Shirley with Laverne putting her glove on the bottle of beer as it runs through the assembly process.

Raegan was really good as usual. She really liked the paper hat. She wore it for a while, then played with it, and finally wind up chewing on it. I had to take it away then since I didn't want her to get any paper in her mouth. This is a picture in the plant. Raegan is distracted by the red balloon she received. She loves red so she'll surely love Coca Cola!(or at least the cans)

Bonnet

Although Raegan falls in the 70 percentile in head size, she can still wear(barely) her cute little bonnet.

Now if Mommy can just learn to frame a picture!(guess that broadcasting experience isn't paying off)

Nap Time

When Raegan gets tired, she really likes to put something over her face. These blanket/toys work really well. When she was smaller, she'd fall asleep with her arm over eyes(The same way her Daddy sleeps.)

Now when she gets fussy and tired, I give her something like this and that seems to calm her and then she's asleep before I know it.

Sorry the pic is dark, didn't use the flash and wake her up!

Getting ready for bathtime

Raegan has more bathrobes than anyone I've ever known! She has at least four. Finally with the warmer weather and her being a little older I feel it's OK if she spends a little time in one before bath. Also not to mention that it is getting easier to dress her as opposed to when she was really tiny.

She is holding one of her favorite toys. It's a McDonald's Happy Meal toy from W.I.T.C.H. I think they are fairies. They have wings. She likes to gnawl on them, and they are easy to hold for her.

Fringe baby

Raegan has become a pretty proficient roller. She is getting close to crawling, in fact the other night she was moving, although it was backwards! Her favorite mode to get to point a to point b is still the roll for now.

At Mamaw's, she loves to roll over the couch and play with the couch cover! She loves the fringe, and it will entertain her for a while. Sometimes the strands get long so Mamaw has to trim them from where Raegan has pulled on them.

Like Mother, Like Daughter

Future Bulldog in the making!

I bought this baby MSU outfit at least 4 years before Raegan was born. So it's been waiting a while to see some action.

Chow Time

Raegan really enjoys eating. At first she wasn't sure she liked the spoon, but now she is a pretty good eater.

This is her enjoying sweet potatoes and turkey. Yummy!
She gets really vocal while eating too. It's pretty funny. Maybe I can catch it on video soon.
